GOD'S LIGHT

I went to sleep and dreamed of playing
But not before I had did my praying
I thanked the lord for mommy and daddy
And to keep me from all the baddies

As I slept through the night
I found myself flying, oh what a sight
Next to a beach I found myself playing
Sand castles I made that night saying

To be a child is a wonderous thing
For upon that beach I hear all the children sing
My spirit is so glad to be apart
Children have the most amazing hearts

Trusting their souls to people who love them so
You'll always be loved so don't be low
While peacefully you sleep at night
Know that you are protected by God's light
